Welcome
to the Eastern Express website!! All Eastern
Express parents and swimmers are urged to
visit the team website often for updates
and news.
In addition, all Eastern Express parents
and swimmers are strongly encouraged to
contribute to the content of the Express
website. Information or digital photos can
be emailed to the Web
Manager for posting on the website.
In addition, if you have newspaper articles
or regular paper backed photos, these can
be scanned, posted on the website, and then
quickly returned.
The Eastern Express website is best viewed
using Internet Explorer 6.0+ at a screen
resolution of 1280 x 1024.
Most of the graphics on the website are
also an active link to the site or topic
that is represented by the image. Consequently,
clicking on a graphic will typically take
the user to the site represented by the
image.
Visitors
to the Eastern Express website are reminded
that updates to the site may not be reflected
immediately because of browser caching -
temporary storage of web pages on your hard
drive. A refresh of the web page may be
required to view the most recent information.
When using Internet Explorer, a refresh
can be accomplished by clicking on the Refresh
button in the browser's toolbar. If using
an AOL browser, users can force a refresh

view DOC files. The application can
be obtained free of charge
from the Microsoft website. After the application

Jersey Swimming Website
The
New Jersey Swimming website can
be accessed from the link on menu bar along
the left, or by clicking on the NJ Swimming
logo located in the top right of each web
page. The NJ Swimming website provides information
about regional and local meets, and general
information for swimming-related activities
for central and northern New Jersey. A specific
link on the menu bar along the left is also
provided for accessing an archive of results
for New Jersey LSC meets held over the past
few years.
USA
Swimming Website
The USA Swimming website
can be accessed from the link in menu bar
along the left, or by clicking on the USA
Swimming logo located in the top left of
each web page. The USA Swimming website
provides information about national and
regional meets, publications, educational
programs, fund-raising activities, sports
medicine programs, resources and general
information for swimming-related activities.
Specific links on the menu bar along the
left are also provided for theClub
Championship and IMX Challenge
programs, along with specific links to log
into individual swimmer's USA Swimming accounts
and to access swimmers' times that have
been loaded into a centralized SWIMS database
from swim meets around the country.
The
Club Championship program
recognizes and highlights clubs that
are developing athletes and achieving
success at multiple levels in the club
swimming continuum emphasizing the team
element in club swimming. This program
serves as a key part of the Athlete
Development & Performance component
of USA Swimming's Club
Recognition Program. The
Virtual Club Championships
are tabulated annually for both the
short course and long course seasons.
Short course rankings are tabulated
using results achieved between September
1 and May 31. Long course rankings are
tabulated using results achieved between
September 1 and August 31. All registered
USA Swimming clubs are scored automatically.
Tabulation occurs once every evening.

The
IMX Challenge is a motivational
program whereby swimmers are scored
and ranked nationally based on their
performance in a combination of five
or six events. The purpose of the
program is to promote versatility
in age group swimming while advocating
greater participation and development
across a range of events that are
integral to long term success in swimming.Read

The
Swimmer Signin can be
used to create or signin to a free personal
account with USA Swimming. If an individual
account has not already been generated,
each swimmer who is registered with
USA Swimming can generate a free personal
account by clicking on "Swimmer
Signin" under "USA Swimming"
in the blue menu tab along the left.
Follow the directions described for
"Need to create an account?".
After generating an account and logging
in, swimmers can then select "My
USA Swimming" to view their Power
Points totals, best times, meet results,
seasonal progress, and IMX History.
Swimmers' times are loaded into a centralized
SWIMS database from swim meets across
the country that includes local, regional,
and national meets. All EEX swimmers
are encouraged to set up an individual
account to follow their results and
progress.
